I've been a type 1 diabetic for the past 10 years of my life. Diagnosed at 24 years old. I'm 34 years old now as I type this.

This manual is not going to be about me. No.

I want this manual to serve as a guide for you where you will gain the knowledge to become the hero of your own journey with diabetes.

WHY DID I WRITE
THE MANUAL?

Everyday I read online posts and comments from people that are completely lost, confused, sad, anxious, depressed and overwhelmed when it comes to diabetes management.

For the past 10 years of my life, I've been living, researching, learning and experimenting life as a type 1 diabetic.

This manual is going to answer ALL the questions I had as I was walking out of the doctor’s office 10 years ago when the doctor told me you have type 1 diabetes.

Everyday I read online posts and comments from people that are completely lost, confused, sad, anxious, depressed and overwhelmed when it comes to diabetes management.

This is understandable especially if you are new to this…

These comments come from newly diagnosed type 1 diabetics and also people who have been living with this illness for some time but still don't know how to do this.

These comments break my heart…

Why? Because I can relate, I'm walking in your same shoes…
